M-Series
Designed specifically to address the needs of rack-mounted systems in data center
environments, the SprayCool™ M-Series offers unique business and technical
benefits.
SprayCool’s unique closed-loop liquid cooling system offers significant cost
and energy savings in managing heat in densely populated data centers. It
allows power consumption to be lowered by around 40% over conventional cooling systems.
In many cases processing capacity can be doubled without the installation of additional
HVAC systems.
How it works
M-series is a rack level solution that consists of a SprayCool enabled rack ready
to support SprayCool enabled servers from major manufacturers. Each server is fitted
with a SprayCool module per processor which attaches to the SprayCool system at
the back of the rack. Heat from the CPU’s is removed from the servers, transported
to the bottom of the rack and then rejected from the room entirely through heat
exchange with facility water loop. The SprayCool M-Series can support up to 10,800
Watts per rack without impacting air cooling requirements for existing legacy equipment
in the datacenter.
Business Benefits
SprayCool enables data centers to be built in a substantially more efficient manner
– reducing both upfront costs and operating costs. Organizations can save
millions of dollars in real estate and energy. New data centers can be built smaller
and provide operational efficiency gains resulting in reduced construction times,
and most importantly reduced capital costs.
- Fully populate server racks and increase power density without a significant increase
in heat.
- Reduce the amount of floor space required for cooling equipment.
- Decrease power costs.
- Revolutionize how data centers are designed, built, and operated.
- Increase the computing power in data centers.
- Decrease server failure due to heat damage.
Technical Benefits
- Requires less than 200w to run cooling system
- Fully Scaleable--Holds up to 36 1u servers
- Adaptable for 2u Servers
- Rejects heat into existing facility water loop
- Redundant, hot-swappable pumps and dual power supplies are standard
