SprayCool, Inc. Named One of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Washington by Puget Sound Business Journal

Company recently expanded operations to focus on thermal issues in commercial market

Liberty Lake, Wash. (Oct. 21, 2005) – SprayCool, Inc., the maker of SprayCool™ technology and products, today announced it has been named one of Washington State’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The company ranked 40 on the 11th annual list, which recognizes the 100 fastest-growing private companies in Washington State based on percentage change in net operating revenues.
SprayCool, which is located in Liberty Lake near Spokane, focuses on solving four major problems – heat, noise, space and reliability – facing designers and users of high performance electronics. In August the company launched a commercial division based in Seattle to address these problems in commercial electronics applications such as data centers. SprayCool has been implementing its SprayCool products into U.S. military applications since 1988.
“We’ve worked very hard to develop our SprayCool products for the U.S. military and have been successful in doing so for the past 17 years,” said Jeff Severs, president and CEO of SprayCool, Inc. “With our recent expansion into the commercial marketplace, I anticipate that the company will continue to see exciting growth.”
SprayCool technology uses liquid evaporation, or phase change, of dielectric fluid to cool electronics. Data-center operators, for example, see a three-fold improvement in computing power after the installation of systems that use SprayCool technology.
This year’s top 100 companies were ranked by percentage change in net operating revenues from 2002-2004. SprayCool posted a change of 163.2 percent.
