SprayCool Named Innovative Company Of The Year At 9th Annual Catalyst Awards

Company recognized for positive contributions to Inland Valley region

Liberty Lake, Wash. – (Oct. 19, 2005) – SprayCool, the maker of SprayCool™ technology and products, today received a 2005 Catalyst Award for Innovative Company of the year, awarded annually by Technet to the company that has made the greatest positive impact on the Inland Valley region of Washington and Idaho.

Catalyst Awards winners are determined by a voting process that includes the 21 past recipients of the awards, the Technet board and 1,200 members from throughout the region. Technet is a trade organization that serves as a conduit to technology and innovation resources in the Inland Valley region of eastern Washington and Idaho. Criteria for the award includes innovation, increase in employment, and products or concepts that have positively impacted the region.

“As part of the Inland Valley business community for more than a decade, we’re pleased to receive this award as affirmation of the positive contributions to this region from our company and employees,” said Jeff Severs, president and chief executive officer of SprayCool. “The recent expansion of our Liberty Lake facility underscores our commitment to grow in the region and it is an honor to be recognized by our peers for our success in Eastern Washington.”

“SprayCool was nominated for its innovative SprayCool technology, which has led to technological recognition and economic development for the entire region,” said Jeannine Marx Fruci, president of Technet. “In addition to its nearly two decades of work with the government, SprayCool has successfully entered the commercial market while advancing technology patents and identifying significant areas of commercial marketing; all of which has resulted in the recruitment of national and international talent while maximizing the existing knowledge base from the area.”

SprayCool received an overwhelming majority of member votes because of its innovation and significant contributions to the region, Marx Fruci said.
